Broadcast from your computer

There are several ways to access music stored on your computer and play it uncompressed on your Octavio system.

If you're running MacOS, you can use the product's AirPlay 2 functionality.

Dedicated software allows you to broadcast your music from local content or a streaming service, such as Audirvana or Roon, and Octavio systems are compatible with them.

You can also use free solutions such as Serviio to share your computer's content with your Octavio system.

To do this :

  1. Open the Serviio application and configure the folders containing your tracks, so you can share your music over the network.
  2. Open the Octavio Virtuose application
  3. Go to the Library tab and select your computer from the list of available devices
  4. Browse the different categories on your computer and select your music
